Course Title: Educational Technology II

 Course Description:

      The subject “Educational Technology II” is a three (3) unit course designed to introduce both traditional and innovative technologies to facilitate and foster meaning ful and effective learning. Students are expected to demonstrate a sound understanding of the nature, application and production of the various types of educational technologies.

     This course will likewise focus both on developing teacher support materials and the production of technology-based student outputs.

     The subject further provides learning experiences through creating teaching/visual aids that will help develop the learning clients’ teaching competence.

     Moreover, this course is designed to prepare the students in the selection, development, organization, and effective use of instructional materials. It involves the study of types, values, limitations and sources of instruction sheets and other teaching aids.

  Course Objectives:

  1. To lend familiarization on how educational technology can be utilized as the media for the avenues teaching-learning process in the school.
  2. To impart skills in planning, designing, using, and evaluating the technology-enriched teaching and learning process.
  3. To provide education in the use of technology in instruction by providing knowledge and skills on technology integration-in-instruction to learners.
  4. To impart learning experiences in instructional technology-supported instructional planning.
  5. To acquaint students on information technology or IT-related learning theories with the computer as a tutor.
  6. To engage learners on practical technology integration issues including IT classrooms, use of the internet for learning, cooperative learning through the use of information technology.

Reflection


Reflection:
                Technology is now widely use in different countries it helps people to finish their work easier,it gives information to the students for their assignments and it helps people to communicate with other people even if they are apart from each other,  but it has also a negative effect on the people especially to the students because of the  informations that can easily copied  by the students everything  changed  like the lifestyle, attitudes and even the beliefs of the students  there are also a lot of people that is not physically fit  because they are always give their time in doing something with the computer.Technology has positive and negative effects and we are the one who is responsible in doing it right.

About me
                I am Jackielyn A. Estiller 19 years old, I was born on the 10th day of December 1991 and I’m the youngest among my four siblings. I am now taking up a bachelor in secondary education major in technnology in livelihoood education and I choose that course because I like to help different kinds of people especially to those in rural areas , I want to share my knowledge to everyone  lilke the skills that they can use for their  everyday life.
                My favorite is butterfly because it made me happy and base on the american and indian butterfly can help people to make their wish come true and their secrets will surely remain as secrets because butterfly cannot speak. I also like playing volleyball because its really enjoyable even though it gives mewounds and scars.
                I am a simple girl with a lot of dreams and I wish to make it come true everytime theres a chances and I want to prove to everyone that I can make my dreams come true but I’m a soft type of person I always cry whenever I cant say something or I failed to finish my task.
